Hey, friends! Just a quick update.
Did you notice my ticker change? It has multiple changes. We are now comparing baby to various food items. Also, my due date has been moved forward! Yep, I gained almost a week. I feel really good about that option. And the last change is... IT'S PINK! As in, Hod and I are having a little girl.
I'm pretty happy! I originally wanted a boy first, but when we found out that she is a girl, I wasn't disappointed at all. This is going to be great!

I wanted to have a girl, and I'm not really ashamed to admit that when I found out he's a boy, I totally started bawling. Of course it doesn't change how much I love him, and and I've definitely become excited about it, but that whole first day was brutal. I'm glad you are so excited about having a little girl, and I know she will be well loved! We should try and make it a point to see each other after both our babies have made it into the world :)
Girls rock.
of course, I was also of the opinion that you should have a boy first so your girl can have a big brother. But having a girl first turned out perfect for me!
