Just So You Know

I have discovered that I REALLY enjoy driving my car by myself and making race car sounds.  Not that I'm really good at sound effects, 'cause I'm a girl.  (I know that sounds totally sexist, but in my experience 90% of men are better at sound effects than 95% of women)  However, I find a lot of joy making overly dramatic acceleration sounds, and squealing tire sounds as I turn corners.

What do you do to make driving fun?

It so rare that I'm in the car by myself, I usually just revel in the absence of noise!

Sing!! And I love when you are singing the same song as the person next to you at a stop light!! I also enjoy safely playing Air Instruments!

Not a thing! I'm boring that way!(it might be sexist, but the sexes are real and have differences and anyone to says differently is in denial!)

Ha! It's true about the boy thing. My little fellas could out-do me in sound effects by the time they were two.

Ben asked me the other day as we were driving if we could buy a race car. I informed him that our minivan was a secret race car and took a hard right at the next corner. (Squealing tires and all.) The boys thought that was pretty great and have been much prouder of their "racing car van" since. :)
