It is hard during the experience but I agree with Grandma Nelson. There are blessings in other ways! AND a mom of one of those slow polite ones, can I just say that the trunk or treat is a mad house, and it's super hard to get your kids to behave when there is candy involved, especially when your 7 and 6 year olds go off with their cousin and you are by yourself with the 2 year old and 3 month old trying to keep things together.

I did have a talk to them about being polite before hand. And another BIG one after the whole thing was over. But I honestly didn't know what to do in the middle of it!

Also, as far as my little polite 2 year old - she really didn't care about how much candy she got. The ones that care tend to be more aggressive. Not that that should be a good excuse, but it was the only way I could justify the whole thing last week!Lareehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/18127248394077565021noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4115647920856443945.post-17237422499762563632012-10-29T13:21:06.633-06:002012-10-29T13:21:06.633-06:00That is just plain sad. I'm really not into the whole trunk or treat thing anyway and this descriptions makes it even less likely that my boys will participate in one.Dianahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/17143732113964589454noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4115647920856443945.post-65245813739540506522012-10-29T10:39:38.918-06:002012-10-29T10:39:38.918-06:00Yes, I've seen it many times. I still believe that those who do will be blessed in many other ways.Grandma Nelsonhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/13724129194124171959noreply@blogger.com
